Crepe Ginger is a peaceful homestay set on 3 acres in Bomlapura village, Koppa Taluk, in the heart of Chikmagalur’s coffee country, Karnataka. Inspired by the tropical modernist style of architect Geoffrey Bawa, the property is a colonial-style bungalow with high ceilings, handmade Athangudi tiles, and locally sourced furniture, surrounded by fruit and flower trees.

We offer 6 rooms across three types of stays: a four-room bungalow (rentable by room or in full), a pet-friendly barn cottage with a kitchenette and living room, and Room Celestial, an English-style room designed for solo travellers.

All meals are served fresh in our shared dining area, featuring home-style Malnad cuisine. Guests can explore nearby coffee estates, waterfalls, and trekking trails in the Western Ghats, or simply relax on the property’s patio and central courtyard.
